Printer jamming, not working or having trouble connecting to the network? We can fix it and get you back online quickly and efficiently.
Software and Driver
You are now ready to go look for the printer driver that you need. We will give you links to some common printer manufacturer’s Web sites in a minute. But before we do this, we’d like to remind you that the printer manufacturer’s Web site is not under our control. Each manufacturer’s Web site will be laid out differently. Therefore, we cannot give you the precise steps that you will need to locate and download the latest printer driver for your computer. So please realize that the following steps are general steps that you may have to adapt a bit.
Go to your printer manufacturer’s website then:
1. Find the downloads or drivers section.
2. Find where you can select your printer make and model.
3. Find where you can select your Windows XP platform type.
4. Select the latest driver.
5. Read the download instructions if there are any, and then download the printer driver.
The following is just one example of what the page that you want to find on the printer manufacturer’s Web site will resemble.

Paper Jam
We are talking Paper Jams. One of our goals is that you rarely, if ever, see a paper jam but they do happen. You know the feeling, you’re in the middle of a large job and a hush falls over the area around the printer. As you approach the machine there is a blinking light, or a message and you know somewhere, somehow a piece of paper has stopped moving through the paper path and brought the machine to a halt. Don’t panic!! We have the solution and we have some suggestions on how to avoid a jam in the first place.
The solution is to locate the offending piece of paper and carefully remove it from the machine. Most of our machines will tell you on the user interface where the jam has occurred.
The paper should be loaded in the paper trays as required for your printer, in most cases that will be with the up or top side facing up. So if you are continuing to have jams try fanning and flipping your paper in the paper tray. We will give you more specific instructions on how to download the printer driver file in a minute. For now, just try to locate the file.
Another thing that might cause a jam is moist paper. Make sure you store your paper in a cool, dry place to avoid humidity or moisture from affecting your paper supply. Paper also needs to be within the specifications for the machine. Paper specifications can be found in the online support for your machine. This example is from the Epson Web site. As we said, other Web sites will look different.

Diagnostics

If you’re unable to print or connect to your printer in Windows 10, follow these steps to try and fix the problem:
Step 1: Make sure that your printer is plugged into the power supply and turned on. Check the USB connection (for wired printers) or the wireless connection (for wireless printers).
Step 2: If you’re still having problems, your printer may need a new driver. Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, and select Device Manager.
Warranty

When you put resources toward new technology, you expect it to last. Most manufacturers offer warranties, but they can be limited in scope and you may have to wait awhile for repairs.
To better meet your needs, we offer expanded and extended warranties on nearly every product we sell. You get options such as speedier response times, accidental breakage coverage and onsite repairs.
And with our custom maintenance contracts, you’ll have experts on call and break/fix agreements that cover repair or replacement of your hardware. So you can keep your equipment — and your organization — running. If at any time you no longer seem to be able to find what you need, please ask someone you know for help or contact your printer’s manufacturer for help.
